Terms of use

Last updated 22 October 2026

Śodha is a hosted writing and reading studio operated as part of RAS. By using the service you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Private beta

Śodha is in a private beta. Access is limited, features may change or disappear, and the service may be unavailable without notice. Accounts may be suspended or removed to protect the service or other users.

Your account

Keep your sign-in details private and tell the operator immediately if you believe someone else has access. You are responsible for activity under your account. Do not share an account unless the operator explicitly allows it.

Your content

You keep ownership of the text you write. You give the operator permission to store, back up, transmit and process that text only as needed to run the service — including sending the relevant text to a model provider when you ask for a generation or a dictionary lookup. You are responsible for having the right to use the material you upload.

Acceptable use

AI output

Generations and dictionary entries are produced by third-party models and can be wrong, incomplete or inappropriate. Verify anything important. Śodha does not provide legal, medical, financial or other professional advice.

Third-party services

Model providers process requests under their own terms. The service may also rely on hosting and infrastructure providers. Their availability and policies are outside the operator's control.

Availability and changes

The beta is provided as-is, without a service-level agreement. Features, limits and model choices may change. The operator may suspend the service for maintenance or stop it entirely.

Proprietary software

Śodha and its source code, design and assets are proprietary. No license is granted to copy, modify, distribute or reuse them. Access to the hosted service is not a license to the software.

Ending access

You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. The operator may suspend or end access if these terms are broken or if continuing would create a security, legal or cost risk.

Disclaimer and liability

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. To the extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for lost data, lost profits or reliance on AI output. Keep your own copies of anything you cannot afford to lose.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws applicable to the operator, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

Changes to these terms

These terms may be revised as the beta develops. The date at the top of this page is the date of the latest revision. Continued use after a revision means you accept it.

Contact

This is a private beta without a public support inbox. Please use the contact route through which you were given access.
